A very rare type of rataji brakteat. Offered at our auctions for the first time.
Brakteate representing the "workshop" of a group of coins found in the village of Rataje in Lower Silesia in 1850. Dated to the first half of the 13th century.
Representation: half figure of a man, wearing a cloak, in front, holding a long cross. In the field to the right of the figure a cross with balls at the ends of the arms.
