A very rare variety with double-tailed lions.
While lions with two tails are characteristic of the first vintage of the minting of King John's Danzig orts, they are encountered noticeably less frequently in the following year than reverses with single tails. This is well illustrated by the Szatalin catalog, where of the 16 reverses shown, only one is of this variety.
This is also confirmed by our archive, where out of 16 orts of this vintage, not a single one had double tails.
A variety with IOH titling, with no border on both obverse and reverse.
Additionally, for specialized collections, this is an undescribed Shatalin combination of stamps (obverse 4, reverse 1).
A nice, naturally circulated piece, with no unusual defects.
