Early type of the second vintage of the Danzig orts of King John Casimir. With royal portrait in the style of the very rare 1650 vintage. Changed probably early 1651.
Variant without borders, with POL & SUEC in the king's titulature.
Variant with a broad wreath over the coat of arms shield.
Very nice ort.
Production minting imperfections (sheet flaw at MON & DGR, ghost of lions on obverse), double minting visible at top of coin, no signs of handling or pendant.
Beautiful mirror image on the reverse.
Rare ort.
