A very nice piece of a rare variety for this vintage.
A variety with the initials HDL (instead of HIL) and without the triangle at the top of the reverse. Also distinguished by the typeface of the wider royal bust.
Also noteworthy is the error in the king's name - CASM instead of CASIM.
In the company's history to date, the 1655 vintage has appeared at auction more than 20 times, only this one was this variety.
A beautiful, very impressively preserved ort in old patina.
