Pennies are a very rare denomination, which gave way in the minting of this king to two-groszy. Their issues were limited to single mintages in only a few years. In Vilnius, this was a single year issue.
A very nice piece. Nice embossing quality for this issue, especially the portrait side. Light scratches on the reverse. All in a lovely celadon patina.
Rarer variety with the King's titulary without the title of Grand Duke (M.D.) and the numeral of the denomination (I) under the Pogon.
