A new type of bust, introduced on sixpences in this vintage. Depicting the king wearing a crown, instead of with a laurel wreath.
Clearly deficient in the rim, but fresh, lustrous and natural. Despite the scarcity, attractive to look at and presentable. Judging by the surface and preserved luster only slightly walked in circulation.
