An impressive clipping minted on the 250th anniversary of the Siege of Vienna.
This is, to our knowledge, the rarest and most difficult to obtain clipping of the Second Republic period. The only one of all the clips to have been stamped with a proof coin (with the convex inscription SAMPLE visible on the king's shoulder). One of two minted by using an oval stamp on a square disc, as subsequent issues already have a decorative ornament in fields extending outside the circle.
A mint piece, with only a slight surface cleanup. With a clear mirror on the obverse.
Mintage of 100 pieces.
Very rare.
