A beautiful and very rare type of denarii with an eagle and a hare.
A type with the knight (prince) facing straight ahead (en face) instead of facing the captive, but in a variety not seen in the trade. Distinguished by the fact that the figures have helmets on their heads!
We in the history so far have had the "en face" type 6 times (for almost a hundred denarii eagle and hare).
The variety in helmets we have never had!
A distinctive and well-liked type. Denarius with a motif of the fight between good and evil, being a political allusion to the fight between Ladislaus and the younger princes. Representing most likely the last type of coins of this ruler.
