A very rare issue.
Very nice state of preservation, confirmed by the MS62 note. Shallower minting, but very nice mint luster.
A coin whose reverse is a continuation of the lion battle motif, but with a new obverse depicting a prince with a pennant. According to Stronczynski, the type was minted for a short time, which is confirmed by his finds at the time: in Urbanice it accounted for a mere 1.5% among the large group of 1700 Wladyslaw coins, and in the Golice hoard there were a mere 3 pieces.
Variety with a star above the shield
Obverse: bust of the prince in front, with pennant and shield. In the field on the right side a star/sun.
Reverse: knight with shield and sword fighting a lion. In the field a flower with three branches.
