Issued by King Wladyslaw Varnañczyk, after his coronation as King of Hungary.
Coin struck at the Hemannstadt(Sibiu) mint, with "h I" marks on the sides of the figure.
Dated 1444.

Obverse: four-field Polish-Hungarian shield of arms, in the rim:
WLADISLAVS. D.G.R. VNGARIE. +.
Reverse: St. Ladislaus standing facing, with halberd and globe, with cross in hands, with mint mark at sides (h-I). In the rim:
.S.LADISL-AVS.REX.
Gold, diameter 21 mm, weight 3.55 g.
