Lot description
Grade: UNC/AU
Reference: Haczewska-Paszkiewicz 6, Garbaczewski nie opisuje

A very rare, interesting brakteat with a representation of the saint, in which B. Haczewska sees St. Stephen because of the characteristic attributes accompanying him. Analogous ones also appear on coins of Halberstadt from the 12th century.

Depiction: bust of Saint Stephen with palm leaf and four stones, under three arches with towers.

Beautiful state of preservation, and with very nice, deep minting.

Silver, diameter 15.5 mm, weight 0.12 g.
