The first collector's sample of the communist period.
The highest denomination among the copper-nickel coins of the series.
The famous Wladyslaw Terlecki issue made on the initiative of collectors "following the pattern of the pre-war period".
Derived from the first sets: made from circulating versions of the coins, bearing the intaglio inscription PRÓBA.
As J. Parchimowicz describes it, referring to Mieczyslaw Czerski, these sets did not meet with the approval of collectors, which led to their replacement with pieces in brass. And it is the latter that are regularly found at auctions, suggesting their successful replacement.
Mintage unknown.
Last seen at auction in Poland in 2019.
Brass, diameter 25 mm, weight 7.13 g.
