This is the only Netherlands type ducat with a knight on the reverse side, an obligatory item in a typological collection. Mintage is much lower than of the other type of the 1809 ducat – with a coat of arms instead of a knight on the reverse.
A beautifully preserved, impressive ducat from the Napoleonic period. Clear details of the face of Louis Napoleon and the knight. About mint condition, above average for this type. Remains of mint luster.
