Minted, in a charming patina.
Here is the first five-dollar coin with a portrait of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski. A distinctive issue minted to commemorate the armed struggle for the liberation of the Fatherland, on the 20th anniversary of the march of the First Cadre Company of the Legions. Distinguished primarily by the side with an eagle (modeled on the eagles from the legionaries' caps, the so-called "shooting eagles"), but also by the placement of the date on the side with Pilsudski's head. Made according to a design by Stanislaw Ostrowski.
