A very rare variety with the letters M.V. at the bottom of the reverse.
Natural piece in a prized celadon patina. Single cuts. Very nice relief.
In 1792, after the death of the previous administrator - Efraim Brenna, the Mint Commission decides to put the Mint designation on the coins. Depending on the language used - M.V. (Monetaria Varsoviensis) or M.W. (Warsaw Mint). And it is both of these notations that we can observe on the dime coins of this year.
The present piece is clearly a rarer variety with the Latin notation, which was (probably quickly) abandoned in favor of the M.W. notation, unified with the Polish legend inscriptions.
