A popular vintage behind the great changes in Polish minting that took place during the Kosciuszko Insurrection. At that time, new denominations were introduced (including one-and-a-half and triple ducats, or part-penny pieces, which took the place of copper trojaks), and the value of thalers was significantly reduced. Introducing in place of eight-gold thalers, new smaller six-gold thalers.
