The first and rarest vintage of ducats with a new type of portrait (without a ribbon in the hair) used between 1783 and 1785.

A very rare, low-circulation coin, minted in 1,661 pieces.

Additionally included is a 1950 NBP permit (discussed in more detail in the video attached to the auction).

Attractive state of preservation for this rare coin.

Obverse: head of the king type 3 to the right. In the rim:
STANISLAUS AUG.D.G. REX POL.M.D.L.

Reverse: inscription AUREUS NUMMUS POLONIAE ANNO 1783 in five lines, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, with initials E.B. below.

Gold, diameter 21 mm, weight 3.46 g.
