The 1777 half-taler in a variety with the end of the king's hair band raised. A variety to which Kopicki attributed the second highest degree of rarity - R8, attributed to coins known from 2-3 pieces. He knew of such a variety only from Count Sobanski's collection.
One of the two half-talars that have a question mark instead of a valuation in Berezowski's price list (the other is a 1780 clipa).
Today it's an item that still belongs to the rarity, although not as much as the old catalogs attributed to it.
The variant with a wide, raised ribbon, indicating the finial of the letter N I. Reverse in a variant without an acorn between oak leaves at the date.
Silver, diameter 34 mm, weight 13.83 g.
