The nicest '78 semi-talar we've had to date.
Beautiful luster. Very nice, even beating on a wide disc. The justation is small. An impressive coin.
The semi-talars were an important high denomination of silver coins that naturally dispersed in circulation, and those from the 1970s additionally circulated for a long time. This can be seen in the pieces encountered at auctions. Coins in circulated condition, sometimes clearly circulated, against which a coin in natural, second state stands out for its beauty. One like this one is already a great rarity.
