The last available half-taler of the Republic, here additionally with a valued provenance - coming from the collection of Henryk Karolkiewicz.
A distinctive vintage minted after a hiatus of several years in the issuance of this denomination, already after the lowering of the silver proof on these coins (from 20 of the Cologne fine, to 20 7/8 of the fine half-talar). A type distinguished by the new typeface of the royal portrait and the coat of arms shield (straight, instead of oval). Being the last semi-talar with the initials of Efraim Brenna.
A variety with a medium ribbon and a second oak leaf far from the shield.
Nice detail and overall presentation of the coin. Light rubbing in the background.
Silver, diameter 33 mm, weight 13.59 g.
