The second vintage of semi-talars, from the year of the changes taking place both on the coins and at the mint.
On June 13, 1768, Justyn Schröder is hired to replace the minter of the time, Sylm, and it is his initials that appear on the entire issue of half-talars of this vintage. In the same year, the appearance of the semi-talars also changes. The old portrait is replaced by a new type - with a king with a headband in his hair.
The present half-taler is an early type for this vintage, with the king without a hairband and the titular ending in POL.M.D.L. Noticeably rarer than the second type.
