The year 1786 brings to the Polish copper mint three new types of coins, which have one thing in common - the sentence "FROM THE COPPER OF KRAIOWEY". These are half-pennies, pennies and just trojaks, a beautiful representative of which we offer you in this auction.
Mint presentation coin. With a luster and beautiful detail rarely seen for them. In a dark brown, even and very fine patina, where these trojaks are usually found in circulated states of preservation, in a strong black patina.
One of the prettiest pieces to come on the market. A type uncommon in this state of preservation.
The second vintage of the domestic copper coins introduced in 1786, for the mining of which the King took an oath in the Pacts of Convent (September 13, 1764).
A variety with dots after KRAIOWEY and the date, highly estimated by Lukasz Gorzkowski, author of specialized catalogs on SAP copper coins.
