The denarius in particular is worth noting in the set. Like his superior, Sigismund I, Albrecht Hohenzollern's minting of denarii begins with a type without date numerals. It was not until the 1550s that he minted a series of rare dated denarii, such as this one from 1559. A 1557 shekel and a 1542 penny complete the set.
