A nice piece, an interesting coin of Julius Caesar. Struck at the military mint, traveling with Caesar in Northern Italy (49-48 BC).
Obverse: Elephant walking to the right, trailing a serpent, in CAESAR section
Reverse: Priestly utensils: scoop (simpulum), dropper, axe and pointed priestly cap (apex).
