A high rarity technological sample of a hundred-dollar coin dedicated to Maria Skłodowska Curie.
The type with the head facing left, designed by A.Jarnuszkiewicz, also realized in the form of high-volume collector's samples in silver, but here with a different obverse. The obverse stamp of E.Olszewska Borys' design was used to stamp the technological samples, with a large eagle above the numeral of the denomination (and not, as on the collectors' small ones, with the denomination in words around it).
Mintage of only 24 pieces.
First time in our offer.
Mint, with a milky patina and slight rubbing underneath. Beautiful mirror finish.
Silver, diameter 32 mm, weight 16,41 g.
