Lot description
Grade: XF
Reference: Bitkin 5 (R2), Plage 126, Berezowski 5.00 zł

A very nice two-dollar coin. Despite the runout imperfections characteristic of this issue, with a beautiful fresh background preserved. Life.

A rare coin from the siege of Zamosc.

A distinctive issue, associated with the months-long defense of the city against the Russians, being the second Polish siege coin after Danzig.

A variant with a large bomb and small letters in the rim.

A distinctly rarer variant with the distant numeral 3, as Jan Szponar points out.
