Lot description
Grade: VF+
Reference: Bitkin 2 (R2), Kopicki 8450 (R3), Plage 123, Berezowski (-)

A very rare variant of the Siege two-dollar coin. Characterized by the letter N in the word WIERNYM in mirror image (in the rim of the reverse) and large date numerals.

A coin associated with the months-long defense of the city against the Russians, being the second Polish siege coin after Danzig.

Characteristically deficient centrally, justunek, but at the same time with preserved natural freshness, especially in the rim. Attractive for this type.
