Lot description
Grade: VF-XF
Reference: Bitkin 2 (R2), Kopicki 8450 (R3), Plage 123, Berezowski (-)

A very rare variant of the Siege two-dollar coin. Characterized by the letter N in the word WIERNYM in mirror image (in the rim of the reverse) and large letters in the rim and the date numerals.

The coin is associated with the months-long defense of the city against the Russians, being the second Polish siege coin after the Gdansk.

Low minting quality is characteristic of these issues. Underminting centrally, justunek of the disc and its cracking. At the same time, the coin with a natural luster. Nice.
