A very rare variant of the Siege two-dollar coin. Characterized by the letter N in the word WIERNYM in mirror image (in the rim of the reverse) and large letters in the rim and the date numerals.
The coin is associated with the months-long defense of the city against the Russians, being the second Polish siege coin after Danzig.
Characteristically low minting quality here, despite the central scarcity, nice. With preserved luster. In a light patina.
