The first coin of Sigismund I.
Głogów penny without date digits.
A distinctive issue of the future King of Poland, Sigismund Jagiellon, then Duke of Glogow, dated 1505.
Very interesting iconographically, as it does not refer to the city where it was minted, but to the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland (Eagle) and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Pogo). It proclaims in the rim "Sigismund Duke of Glogow, Casimir, King of Poland, born.
Variety with NATVS in the rim of the reverse.
