Very rare, the second trojak of the city of Toruń.
In 1528, after a gap of almost fifty years, the Torun mint reopens. Already in the same year it begins minting a number of denominations, including trojaks. These are issues for the Prussian lands, which from 1530, due to the unification of these coins with Crown issues, circulate throughout the Republic.
The 1529 yearbook is encountered in the trade only occasionally. In the entire history of our company we had it only once, in 5 state of preservation. At auctions in Poland it was listed only a few times over a period of more than 20 years.
Very important also for typological collections, as this royal portrait appears only on the first two vintages (1528-1529).
A naturally circulated piece. Attractive for this almost uncommon type in the trade.
Silver, diameter 21 mm, weight 2.41 g.
