Lot description
Grade: UNC/AU
Reference: Ivanauskas-Cesnulis 5SA7-4 (RR), Kopicki 3281 (R1)

A beautiful, minted penny.

The prettiest representative of this vintage we have ever had in trade. With a natural background mirror, very rare for penny coins of this period.

This is a penny in line with Crown issues, minted on the Polish foot.

Being a rare variety for this vintage. In 1547 there is a change in the portrait of the king. Most of the vintage is minted with the bust of the king with a stacked, smooth bearded spike, as in the 1546 vintage. Only as the year progresses is it changed to this portrait, being noticeably rarer for the 1547 vintage.
