Lot description
Grade: XF
Reference: Ivanauskas-Cesnulis 5SA7-4 (RR), Kopicki 3281 (R1)

Nice, natural art in patina. Shallower beat, typical of this issue. Nice background luster.

This is a penny in line with Crown issues, minted on the Polish foot.

Being a rare variety for this vintage. In 1547 there is a change in the portrait of the king. Most of the vintage is minted with a bust of the king with a stacked, smooth chin spike, as in the 1546 vintage. Only as the year progresses is it changed to this portrait, being noticeably rarer for the 1547 vintage.
