The last vintage of Vilnius pennies for the Polish foot.

After the issue of this denomination was discontinued in 1548, the king resumed minting them only in 1566 (but by then the mint in Tykocin was already doing so).

A distinctive portrait introduced in 1547.

A very nice penny, in a celadon patina.
