Lot description
Grade: F-VF
Reference: Ivanauskas-Cesnulis 6SA28-8 (R), Kopicki 3297 (R5), Tyszkiewicz 12 mk

A highly regarded vintage.

Two bending marks.

After 1555, the tenant of the mint, Felix, noticeably reduces the issue of pennies, almost extinguishing it, until 1559, when he receives permission to reduce the monetary rate. With this issue, he ends the minting of pennies for the Lithuanian rate in Vilnius during the reign of Sigismund II Augustus.

Legendary variety: LIT / LITVA.
