The first and only vintage of Tykocin half-penny of Sigismund Augustus.

A distinctive coin with a reverse legend punctuated by the Jastrzębiec coat of arms of Stanisław Myszkowski, Governor of Cracow.

A rare numismatic coin, here additionally in a distinctly rarer variety - with a small Jastrzębiec not extending beyond the obverse. It is appreciated by the authors of the latest study of the minting of Sigismund Augustus, assigning it the highest degree of rarity (RRR).
