The first type of half-track minted on Polish soil: with an eagle on the obverse and a royal apple on the reverse.
The first half-talers were minted at the Bydgoszcz mint. They were characterized by a double marking of the denomination expressed in the fraction of a thaler (Z4), which was changed quite quickly (they are rarer than half-tracks with the eagle and the denomination expressed in the number 3).
Today, these half-talers are rare and sought-after coins.
