A half-track without a date, a showy error by Bydgoszcz miners.
A very rare variety, defined by high degrees of rarity in catalogs. In the history of our company only 1 time we had a halftrack without both digits of the date, it was, however, a different variety (with Sas in an oval and a different cut of the apple).
The type with the Sas coat of arms in a stylized shield, dated by the Górecki-Dudek duo to 1622.
Lack of numerals the effect of a maker's error, not a deficiency, as confirmed by a second piece from the same stamp, illustrated in the aforementioned catalog.
