A coin minted during the first period of the Lobezhniki mint (1612-1615), in the second year of minting this denomination there.
A very distinctive issue, the iconography of which could even verge on an insult to the majesty of the king. In place of the royal monograms placed on the crown denarii, the Bróg (Krotoski) coat of arms was struck, on the sides of which an abbreviated date (1-3) was placed. On the other side placing a crowned eagle, with the Vasa coat of arms in a shield on its breast.
A rarity, which Tyszkiewicz valued at 50 marks, and Opozda in 1975 reached only 7 pieces.
A typologically sought-after item, absent from many advanced collections.
