One of the rarest orts of Sigismund III Vasa.
The second known type of the first vintage of the Bydgoszcz orts of this ruler. Minted even before their mass production began in 1621.
The only one characterized by initials II - VE placed on the sides of the coat of arms shield, above the date. The initials belonged to the tenant of the mint, Jacob Jacobson van Emden.
In the company's history to date, we have had an orta of this variety only once, during an auction at the Royal Castle (sold for PLN 28,750). However, it was minted with a different reverse stamp (obverse from the same stamp). With a single border (without the circular circular mark described as the second border).
Recommended.
Silver, diameter 29.5 mm, weight 7.13 g.
