An undescribed variety in the reference catalogs for Danzig orts.
Distinguished on the obverse by the lack of hooks at the rosette preceding SIGIS (Szatalin-Grendel R6), but additionally with a very rare reverse, which is distinguished by a rosette before the date with hooks.
Representative of type II of the Danzig orts of the short 1615-16 issue. A compositionally beautiful design by Samuel Ammon - with a new type of portrait (with a wide orifice) and a new reverse (with an oval shield of the coat of arms).
