A 1623 sixpence, but WITHOUT the numerals of the denomination - VI - under the crown of the reverse.
Such a variety, but for the 1625 vintage was noted by Nechitaylo-Ermashenko-Zamiekhovskiy with a rarity grade of R7. For this vintage it is undescribed!
