Lot description
Grade: F
Reference: Hutten-Czapski 1701, Kurpiewski nie opisuje, Kopicki jak 1250 (R7)

A very rare forgery from the era of the sixpence - a high denomination among the coins of Sigismund III at the time.

Forgery modeled on the very rare 1601 Wschowa sixpacks with Ernst Knon's initials, but made in clearly lower grade silver and stylistically different.

Workshop-wise very good.

This type of counterfeit of the period had, among others, Emeric Hutten-Czapski in his collection (item 1701).

Recommended.
