The prettiest Poznañ three-piece from this rare vintage we have ever had.
Mint surface silvering protected by a thin layer of lacquer. Very good detail.
In 1619, further changes take place on the three-corners minted under Lehmann's management. The denomination marking ("III") previously placed above the king's monogram disappears from them. It only appears on a small group of three-cornered coins from 1620, placed in place of the Vasa coat of arms (Snopka). This arrangement, however, does not catch on, and after a small issue in 1620 and even a perfunctory one in 1621, the mint continues to mint only thirds without the Roman three.
The coin is erroneously attributed by Edmund Kopicki to the Cracow mint, due to the lack of characteristic keys.
