In 1619, further changes occur on the thirds minted under Lehmann's management. The denomination marking ("III") previously placed above the king's monogram disappears from them. It only appears on a small group of three-cornered coins from 1620, placed in place of the Vasa coat of arms (Snopka). This arrangement, however, does not catch on, and after a small issue in 1620 and even a perfunctory one in 1621, the mint continues to mint only thirds without the Roman three.
The coin is erroneously attributed by Edmund Kopicki to the Cracow mint, due to the lack of characteristic keys.Recently viewed
