A beautiful piece of an inconspicuous yet rare coin.
Full silver plating, sharp relief, natural luster.
Superbly preserved, especially for a fine, perfunctory coin of the period.
In 1621 Lehmann leaves the city mint and is succeeded as mintmaster by Henning Guttman, who, in addition, takes over the mint in 1623. In 1624, Guttman restores the Poznan coinage to the city's coat of arms, hence the great rarity of the coin offered at auction, probably minted in early 1624, most likely in small numbers.
