A similar type is noted by E. Kopicki under No. 7049.he-hf. It is very likely that this bracteate depicts the head of a bird (rooster?) in front, with clear eye sockets, only with a shallower, more faint beating the eye sockets are not outlined fully, but only in the shape of crescents.
We have so far offered this bracelet at auctions in a wide version, now for the first time we offer a reduced type.
