A very nice piece.

Second vintage thalers of the time of Frederick II, who initiated the minting of thaler coins in Silesia.

A later variety for this vintage with LEGENICZ (instead of LEGENIC3) in the obverse legend (not presented in Kopicki).

Bust of the prince narrow, on the reverse wider decorations on the sides of the coat of arms shield.

A valued and sought-after type.

Silver, diameter 40.1 mm, weight 28.7 g.
