Reference: Iger OR.22.1.a (R4), F.u.S. 2907

A very rare numismatic coin.

The first, of only two vintages of triplets minted at the Opole mint. This one is noticeably rarer.

In 1622, pursuant to a decision of Emperor Ferdinand II, Garbiel Bethlen took over the dominion of the Duchy of Opole and Racibórz. In the same year, he opened a mint in Opole, which began producing coins ranging from denarii to thalers. The issuance of trojaks was discontinued as early as 1623.

Attractive state of preservation for this type of coin.

First time in our offer.
