A very rare item described by Prof. Boris Paszkiewicz as a"hybrid halerza imitation".
Combining the obverse of the Wroclaw halerza (the head of St. John, but without inscriptions), with the reverse with an eagle with a headband (instead of a lion).
As the professor points out, it is"an illegal issue, probably from the Olawa or New March areas."
Nicely preserved silvering luster.
